Andalucia: Students will not return until September

The education counselor, has confirmed this Wednesday in Canal Sur Television, that students will continue to receive classes electronically until the end of the course, so they will not return to classrooms until September. Andalusia rules out the possibility of returning to schools in the phase 2 of the de-escalation, as stated by the Government.

Imbroda explained that the second-year high school students will have virtual tutorials, where special monitoring will be done to prepare them for the selectivity tests.

The Ministry of Education and Sports has made this decision after consulting several agents of the educational community.

Teachers and AMPA have already expressed their disagreement with the return of students to schools, due to not yet guaranteeing the necessary hygiene measures to prevent new coronavirus infections.

Educational centers will open next 18 May to continue with the face-to-face schooling process. This date is the one that Imbroda has transferred to the various representatives of the educational community with whom he has met in recent days.
