Andalusia: Register 707 new cases

The Ministry of Health and Families has reported that Andalusia has registered five deaths from coronavirus this Friday and an increase of 707 new cases, the highest number since 30 March.

The province that has added the highest number of positives has been Malaga with 219 positive, followed by Almería with 123, Seville with 97, Cordoba with 79, Cádiz with 66, Granada with 64, Jaén with 39 and Huelva with 20.

For his part, hospitalizations continue to grow with 37 new hospitalized, two more in the Intensive Care Unit (FIA).

256 confirmed patients with COVID-19 remain admitted to Andalusian hospitals, of which 35 are in ICU.

By provinces:

  • Almería (79 hospitalizations, of which 15 and UCI)
  • Cádiz (27 hospitalizations, of which 4 and UCI)
  • Córdoba (20 hospitalizations, of which 2 and UCI)
  • Granada (29 hospitalizations, of which 3 and UCI)
  • Huelva (7 hospitalizations and none in ICU)
  • Jaén (9 hospitalizations and none in ICU)
  • Málaga (63 hospitalizations, of which 6 and UCI)
  • Seville (22 hospitalizations and 5 and UCI).
