After almost 200 concerts between 2015 and 2017 in prestigious venues and festivals with his acclaimed album SCD, Blick Bassy It presents his new work 1958, a tribute to the heroes who fought and died for the independence of their native Cameroon, with such universal themes as slavery, the need for heroes, the relevance of history and search for the true identity.

Their music is defined as a variant of African folk blues, in rare instruments involved in African music as cello or trombone. It combines its African roots and reformulates different rhythms of his country, with influences from blues and other sources, mixing the ancestral and contemporary, with an original result and very personal.
