work of F. G. LORCA Address space: ORIOL Broggi musical creation: JOAN GARRIGA
LORCA reach the CENTRAL HORSE, WITH GUITARS AND A GREAT SAND FOR ACTORS RUEDO, ACTRESSES AND MUSICIANS.
A staging intense and memorable.
Marcos Ordoñez tells us: La Perla band performed Blood Wedding a huge, flaming passion and tragedy of death. Stage four bands, with wooden fences ... between circus barren field and track, with highlights, almost a tribute to the chiaroscuro of the public Lluís Pasqual. Aside, a piano in the sand. The other, three skeletons boosting trumpet, guitar and violin, and a canteen of Cuernavaca in the Day of the Dead. Joan Garriga types a study of Chopin. Enter the mourners, sunk into a hopeless gloom. Broggi branded a slow pace, liturgical, but growing concern: we will witness the chronicle of a death foretold double.
The story of Blood Wedding is simple: a girlfriend who has had a exnovio, Leonardo, only character with own name. The boyfriend, mother of the groom, Father of the Bride, the neighbor, the maid, Girl, the girl.
These characters, Broggi said, I added the character of the music embodied in flesh and blood musicians, because music is very present in the theater of Lorca; and also a real horse, Playful, an animal present in very Lorquian work, symbolizing virility, the beauty, eroticism and death by its black color.
