The films featuring children have the ability to invite the viewer to regress, a deep identification with the world of childhood and his own biography.
"Cinema and emotions. A journey to childhood ", in collaboration with La Cinémathèque française, looks back to childhood this emotional relationship with titles and related materials.

Is it possible to travel to childhood? Go back to feel the emotions as were experienced as children? The large screen offers a game in which all viewers involved, those living his childhood in the present and those left behind. The exhibition is about eleven loops film excerpts, each designed to generate a particular emotion.
The videos are accompanied by various materials that show everything around the creation of the film: drawings, storyboards, shooting pictures, posters, mockups, locker room, etc. Thus it reveals what goes on behind the camera, everything that makes possible the creation of the world, to find that the tools are so fantastic that works as genuine emotions that is capable of awakening.

THE GREAT ILLUSION: A CAROUSEL OF EMOTIONS
Throughout the sample, seven areas intertwine films and materials of various kinds to form an emotional portrait of childhood. The exhibition begins with the field "Joy", It is showing films that reflect the desire of children to learn and live, his desire to be understood and protected and their ability to reinvent the world, a virtue that is forgotten with the passage of time but that the film is able to re-activate. "Rabia" explores the moments of anger and frustration being experienced during childhood, which they are recorded in memory and are recognized at them on the screen. "Laughter" shows how the laughter of children in the cinema viewers spread, not only tenderness but also caused by identification with Mischief, unexpected situation or the invention of something new and crazy.
Loneliness, abandonment or rejection are some of the feelings discussed in "Tears", as manifestations of child suffering they generate in the viewer a sense of shared pain. "Fear" explores the moments of terror during childhood. Fear can be a product of fantasy, but its effect is real in these small and those who watch from the armchair. "Bravery" remember that in childhood can also be the bravest thanks to an energy that overcomes every challenge that the road poses. paradoxically, the value of the smallest teaches outweigh its challenges sometimes are not as difficult to cope.
