J. The. MATILLA WE OFFER THE SECOND CHAPTER OF SINGULAR PATH THROUGH YOUR CONCERT Danced
Matilla is one of the choreographers, dancers, and much more", Andalusians who remains committed to let us go over well with that character from absentminded, ultra-sensitive and bailongo but with large doses of bad dribble. For this reason follows in this Da mopa progress in his very personal construction dancer / musician unprejudiced surprised us a few years ago.
Da mopa is primarily a musical project that does not forget its scenic side presenting to the public a concert danced. This proposal is the natural consequence of the passage of Sad Dance Therapy for scenarios like the Monkey Week or Megatron, spaces where the context is quite out of the theater, linoleum and dance.
Electronics, Latin rhythms and musical worms, between comedy, the fake and dancing, they support to develop the themes of the songs, ranging from the call to prayer to contemporary critical metapensamiento, highlighting the contradictions of our needs, inherited or acquired.
Juan Luis Matilla collected in Da mopa its musical history to give then that naïve and passionate character in her first solo show, through remixing to a concert format, but without neglecting the roots of movement and dance in his speech.
