SYNOPSIS
Dani de Morón (Seville, 1981) It proudly bears the name of the Sevillian town in which he has lived almost all his life., because Morón de la Frontera is a land of guitars. A town that keeps the simple touch, old and unique from some guitarists who, headed by Diego del Gastor, They represent a tradition that this artist knows and respects deeply., although his technique, neat and refined to the point of indescribability, They have taken him in other directions.
Because Dani de Morón is a musician before he is a guitarist and, as such, researches incessantly in many other fields, especially in the inexhaustible field of jazz.
Heir like everyone else to Paco de Lucía, who chose it as second guitar for the tour of his album Good Things, Dani loves singing above all and is generous when it comes to accompanying it. Its versatility makes it adapt to whoever is at its side, contributing his musical wisdom to voices as different as those of Rocío Márquez, Pitingo or El Pele.
And the same thing happens with dancing, whom he continues to accompany with pleasure, whether in its traditional facet, already with risky and brilliant compositions, like the one made for Patricia Guerrero's last show, Delirium.
But it is in his compositions and in his solo recitals, with the only accompaniment of some palms or, like in this Duo, with the percussion of another great musician such as Agustín Diassera, where the artist shows the true measure of his harmonic and rhythmic world.
Duo is composed of eight beautiful and suggestive compositions, three of them from his latest album Believe to See. Pieces that respond to the structure of the soleá, the farruca or the seguiriya, but they already have their own perfectly recognizable seal. Something that only a few have been able to achieve.
