The Plenum of the Seville City Council, has approved the modification of the Regulatory Ordinance of the Veladores Terraces to include a transitory provision that allows flexibility in the application of municipal regulations in exceptional circumstances and for a limited time.

With the aim of supporting and promoting the city's hospitality activity after the economic and labor crisis derived from the Covid-19 pandemic.

It has been designed during the health crisis to face the impact on the economy and employment of the hospitality industry and with the aim of being able to respond to extraordinary situations that may occur.

As is the case with the current health recommendations due to the crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The City Council and the Seville Hospitality Business Association have agreed to establish a joint framework to evaluate the cases in which this additional provision can be applied to promote this activity and provided that the general interest is guaranteed..

An extensive process for the processing of files has been promoted in the Urban Planning and Environment Management for the expansion of the surface of the pedestal terraces.

So that establishments can maintain safety distances between tables.
