ExposureThe Painted Veil, conceived by Paula Noya (Lugo, 1969) 13ESPACIOARTE built specifically for intuitive route between the issues that have concerned the Galician artist throughout his career.

Using as a starting point the symbolism of the curtain, for its ability to hide or highlight the reality, The Painted Veil talks about the various emotional layers that hide behind our identity and the constraints that prevent take control of our lives and become masters of our time. “The time now I have before me (this has been the miraculous transformation) molding material I is, no vertigo that crushes me and carries me ". The project, curated by Susana Blas, It is organized into two rooms, taking advantage of two architectural levels of space. On the ground floor it has been placedthe social stage, referred to public life, and specifically refers to the way women live the artistic profession. In this first zone it highlights the pictorial installation: Sorority gallery (2018-2019) where he pays tribute to women who generation after generation claiming the women's contributions to the history of mankind.

On the top floor we enterthe intimate space house, tissue from biographical and educational conditions. There, sentimental sphere is expressed between joy and pain. In this second stage can be, among other pieces, installation: uprooting(2018): a wall disturbing town of cockroaches, mirror of violence that may be generated in the domestic context. However, this room is designed with a warm and welcoming atmosphere for people who want to share their experiences.

With a bill preciosista and distanced, Paula Noya built a poetic universe in which longings and fears want to transform into hope, relying on the practice of self-knowledge and the power of sisterhood.

The whole exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Feli Morán Medina, very dear friend of the artist.
