The FAKE MAGAZINES project- ¡AHLAN!, KALAS and VOWEI by the artist Nuria Carrasco is identified within the concept of the photobook - the English name for this artistic format- where print is the medium and artistic medium. It is as if a sculptor opted for wood and not bronze to carry out his work. Although artistic movements like Fluxus have published their magazines and developed editorial projects, the use of the magazine support as a work of art is a relatively new field in artistic research. On the whole, these three posts suggest a question: ¿A work of art made on coated paper, instead of traditional materials it contains an innovative component in contemporary artistic production?.
