Exposure: "So things happen" Ignacio TOVAR

In this exhibition of Ignacio Tovar (Castilleja de la Cuesta, Seville, 1947) the paintings in the last two years together. A significant novelty is that individual pieces is unlike other previous work, which consisted mostly of diptychs. These new paintings have gained interest in the empty space, creating a more forceful and less hazy atmosphere where no longer take much emphasis variations or color contrasts, but the nuances and spatial depths that are generated in the extension of the same color.

This evanescent territory that does define a space to stop and think, He invites us to enter the work gaze without require us anything, facilitating a meeting with oneself. It is a painting inward, more introspective, that seeks to promote the ability to suggest a picture. There are no issues here figurative or narrative, its purpose is to arouse emotions. They are jobs that require pause and silence, a concentration that allows the view to move across the surface discovering different nuances.

At the same time the last photographs taken by Ignacio Tovar on the pretext of still life allows the artist to compose and work with the texture of light reflectively be presented, Particular importance to the warmth of the atmosphere and the lines of the composition.
