Exposure "Passion Sevilla" It has been inaugurated Monday Confraternity of the Passion of Seville. It aims to commemorate the five ephemeris that the Brotherhood is celebrating this year 2018: the eighth centenary of the founding of the Order of Mercy, centennial fusion with Sacramental of Salvador, the 150 anniversary of the arrival at the College, the 75 processional anniversary of the Lord and the 450 birthday of Martínez Montañés. In addition, this year, brotherhood receive the Medal of the City.

The exhibition can see a representative sample of the history of the guild after almost 500 years of foundation, It is able to see pieces of valuable historical and heritage, documents, photographs and fixtures, among which the processional step of Our Father Jesus of the Passion, which can be mounted in the Hall of Apeadero. Step meets 75 years since its creation at the hands of the goldsmith Cayetano González, brother of the Confraternity that is expressly dedicated an exhibition area with sketches for the Brotherhood.

The exhibition is divided into six areas:

"All the passion in an image"in the courtyard of City Hall Mayor.

In this space, you can see eleven representations of Lord of Passion through paintings and engravings. In addition, to admire the three robes embroidered with which the Lord has (the one made by Jesus Rosado 2017, Embroidered by Manuel María Ariza 1845 and by Patrocinio López 1869, restored in this 2018) and the evolution of the way of the Lord through three litters which has had the Brotherhood since the nineteenth century.

This space is dedicated to the honor of Cayetano González through sketches of his works and some of his most significant pieces, the most important being the poles of step canopy of the Virgen de la Merced, considered his masterpiece.

Processional embroidered trousseau of the Virgin of Mercy is displayed along with documents and objects that testify to the relationship between the Royal Family and the Brotherhood.
