Juan Manuel Fernandez Montoya, Farruquito, he is the son of singer Juan Fernández Flores, The Brown, and the dancer Rosario Montoya Manzano, La Farruca. Hereder of a unique school founded by Farruco, his grandfather, has spent his entire life immersed in the purest Flamenco art. He debuted on the international scene at 5 years on Broadway with the show Flamenco Puro sharing the bill with the most legendary figures of Flamenco, between them, his family. With 8 years presents its first season at the Sala Zambra in Madrid.

To the 11, he took part in the video-clip CAMARON NUESTRO and the following year in the film FLAMENCO by Carlos Saura, face to face with the patriarch of the saga, El Farruco. That same year with his family at BODAS DE GLORIA, participates in the artistic and choreographic conception of the show. In 1992 performs at the Opening Ceremony of the Barcelona Paralympics and with his grandfather, El Farruco, in the Andalusian Pavilion of the Universal Exhibition of Seville with the show PRESENTE, PAST AND FUTURE. Farruco's death in 1997 assumes the relief: at fifteen, Farruquito assumes the responsibility of perpetuating the lineage. With so soil 15 years creates his first show, FLAMENCO ROOTS, where a dancer of a new dimension is distinguished who combines all his tradition with a prodigious personal artistic conception.

Since its debut at the Royal Festival Hall in London, this sample of the purest and most racial flamenco has been presented with great success at the Teatro de la Villa y Conde Duque in Madrid, at the Poliorama Theater in Barcelona and on international tours in France or Japan. In 2001 presents FARRUQUITO Y FAMILIA at the I Festival Flamenco USA. After his performances in New York and Boston, the New York Times considered him ?the best artist who stepped on the Big Apple in 2001?. The following year Farruquito triumphs in his hometown, Seville, with a season at the Central Theater. He had a great success during the III edition of the USA Flamenco Festival together with his brother Farruco de 14 years old. Headlining the show BY RIGHT, toured eleven North American cities where critics surrendered to his art and personality. Likewise, his participation in the Flamenco Festival of Madrid at the Albéniz Theater or that of Jerez at the Villamarta Theater has been a resounding success with critics and audiences alike.. Farruquito's genius has not gone unnoticed in the eyes of the great photographer Richard Avedon or the American magazine PEOPLE that chose him as one of the most beautiful people in the world or the Academy of Music that awarded him for his lyrics DULCE CANELA del album María de Niña Pastori and for the sound of her feet on the tribute album to Jeros.

The dancer is also in charge of the academy, located in Seville, that spreads the precepts of the Farruco school. in November 2003 premiered its show Alma Vieja with great success at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville. Success is repeated at the Albéniz Theater in Madrid and at the Victoria Theater in Barcelona. Since then the ALMA VIEJA tour has toured the Spanish stages, also succeeding in the UK, France and Italy. In 2004 Farruquito has received recognition from the press and the public with various awards such as the Public Award for best dancer, the Flamenco Hoy Award for the best dancer, the Chivas Curtain Award?04 for the best dance performer, and the prestigious APDE award 2004 to the ?worthy custodian of the heritage of gypsy dance?.

Premieres in 2008 its PURO-Farruquito production with 14 musicians on stage and a great technical display, obtaining in Palma de Mallorca, Jerez and Seville (XIII Flamenco Biennial) with unanimous criticism: ?Farruquito reigns again!?. PURO resorts to countries like Israel, Mexico or Holland, obtaining important successes and recognitions. It premieres at the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla in the 2010, his show SONERIAS, incorporating a choreography full of impressive nuances of traditional and ancient styles, proposing a theatricality that breaks with his previous proposals. France, in the city of Paris, invited by the prestigious fashion house Louis Vuitton, dance at the Mirror of Passion show. In september 2011 premiere of his new show BAILE FLAMENCO at the Compac Theater in Madrid, during 4 consecutive days and with a total SOLD OUT and with critics like ?Farruquito triumphs at the premiere of BAILE FLAMENCO? (The world, 16/11/2011). In DANCE FLAMENCO Farruquito is dressed by the prestigious brand LOUIS VUITTON and BERLUTI, and in this second case, being the first time in history, that a celebrity is dressed by the brand.
