Jimmy Aldridge and Sid Goldsmith is one of the best duos that have emerged in the British folk and acoustic scene in recent years. His unique ability to make old songs seem relevant and that the new songs sound old has brought fantastic reviews.

The duo live performances are a celebration of traditional music, but there is also a deep integrity and sincerity that stems from his passion for social issues in music. There is a common thread of political struggle, resistance and justice, and an occasional love song. They are two of the musicians and social commentators most exciting British music scene. On this occasion presented their third album, Many a Thousand.
