This year the governing board of the Real Maestranza de Caballeria de Sevilla elected the North American Julian Charles Schnabel to sign the poster announcing the bullfighting season. 2021.

The work and the details of its creative process will be revealed this Wednesday, 10 March, in the Hall of Posters of the Baratillo arena.

Since the year 1994, The Governing Board of the Real Maestranza de Sevilla has chosen names from the first row of the international art scene to announce the bullfighting festivities.

Treasure signatures like those of Miquel Barceló, Carmen Laffón, Larry Rivers, Botero, Salinas, Luis Gordillo or Hernán Cortés, the Chilean Guillermo Muñoz Vera, the Sevillian creator Juan Fernández Lacomba, the Madrid painter Carlos Franco Rubio, the Salamanca-born María Gómez or the German creator Albert Oehlen.
