(UPO). A walk through the city allows us to read a wide variety of stories written in the rocks that occasionally crop up within the city limits or those which have been used for centuries in the construction of buildings. The activity is aimed at this second aspect, for which a route is made through the center of Sevilla. In the streets near the Plaza Nueva identify different types of rocks in which, from its texture and fossil content, we can reconstruct different environments and sedimentary processes that were developed in the geological past. Our journey will take a few hundred million years.

Minicharla scientific (UPO) What is now called Ecological Footprint, a concept that measures the impact of humans on nature, originated at some point in our past. Over the last 10.000 years humans have been domesticating some species of our environment. In this documentary, scientists explain their point of view on the origin of the domestication from what we are like animals and waste preserved we have produced more than 50 ancient Andalusian organic scavengers from archaeological sites.
