The Inter-American Entertainment Corporation had set its sights on Seville to organize large international concerts, Southern Europe lacks venues for this type of show despite the fact that there is a significant demand.

The development director, José Manuel Alavez, He did not hesitate to make an offer for the Cartuja stadium as soon as he knew the facilities.

But this is not news.

The same reasoning was already made by the investors of Sevilla Park when they presented a project in the city to build a concert hall for 21.000 spectators.

His intention was to create an axis of great concerts in Spain so that in the same week the great stars of music performed:

Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, with capacity for 18.000 spectators
The Palace of Sports in Madrid (16.500).

In this way they aspired to attract the public of Andalusia, Estremadura, Southern Portugal and Northern Africa, since according to their studies Spain is the first country in Europe in consumption of live shows.

Behind Sevilla Park are the same promoters who manage the Wizink Center in Madrid, old Sports Palace.
