The Teatro de la Maestranza remains committed to the Dance Month, International Festival of Contemporary Dance, which has already reached its issue number 24, welcoming in the Sala Manuel García various performances four functions.
Roni Chadash (Israel)
Animate (Best Performer Award Contest MASDANZA 2016)
Israel comes only from the Ani-ma, Young choreographer and dancer Roni Chadash. A study released in 2015, and since then with several awards, one of the most recent which won in the Contest Masdanza, the best performer. The quest for freedom and animal instinct in a body that works as a prison, the main idea behind this unsettling solo tour. Mercedes L. Caballero

Did U Hear (Festival Competition first prize 10 Senses 2017)
A poem written by American rapper 2PAC, The rose that grew from concrete (The rose that grew from asphalt) It is the backbone of this solo dancer and creative Howool Baek. An interpretation through movement of the idea of "normal" or conventional and acceptable, on which turns the poem, which he won first prize at last year's Festival 10 Senses. Cora Panizza (Canary Islands / Catalonia)
Burnt (Festival Audience Award Contest 10 Senses 2016)
Festival 10 Senses, held in Valencia, also it comes Burnt, solid piece of the dancer and choreographer Cora Panizza, formed in classical dance, contemporary and urban dance. His extensive training concludes the eclectic body language that shows, technical refined and great control from flying free through movement. Burnt is his first work as a choreographer and he has received other mentions (Choreography Contest District of Tetuan, 2016) and awards (First Prize and Audience Award at the XI Choreography Competition Sabadell 2016). Zero (Choreographic Contest ex aequo first prize in Madrid 2016)
Rudi Robert Cole and Julia star in this duo is an example of the work being carried out in front of his emerging company, Humanhood, and he earned them first prize in last year's Choreographic Contest of Madrid, shared piece Good Girl, Sisters of Gestring (see pages 12 and 13). Zero proposes a vital white canvas from which to build. A dissertation about the origins, a place of memory, wherein the meeting of the two performers and their interaction, set the standard.
