Since the 4 February to 24 August, the House Science Museum presents a new exhibition entitled “Molecules of Life: 50 Years of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Spain”, together with the Spanish Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology on the occasion of 50 anniversary of its founding.

The exhibition offers visitors an interactive tour of the basic molecules that make up the cells of our body, promote our health and participate in our daily lives. Among the protagonists of the exhibition are the DNA molecule, repository of genetic information, water molecule (H2O), component 80% Human Body, and glucose, primary energy source for the organism.

The exhibition is part of the program of activities with which the Spanish Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary and has received funding from the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), National Museum of Natural Sciences (MNCN/CSIC) and support companies Zeltia, MSD, The Bio-Rad Grifols.

The Museum offers Free guided tours this Exhibition, included in museum admission. Will take place Saturday and Sunday at 12 hours (until 27 July, including), until full capacity of 25 people.
