“Mozart vs Salieri” Theater Duque-La Imperdible, Seville

It is true that rumors always have something to offer and even build a case based on rumors is precisely not a scientific method, It is better to have a rumor than nothing. We're, well, to what has been called a "conspiracy theory" in the making: It has been said that the great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart did not die of a disease but at the hands of his great rival, Antonio Salieri; charges after the death of Salieri charged very strong given the rivalry and competition between the two maintained.

Our idea was to stage the universe of these two great composers and their controversial relationship.
We have imagined a timeless place, limbo in which both are, a space where those who were supposedly killed are with those who allegedly murdered. We have sought a face to face meeting between the two. It seemed interesting that both say things that had never been said and get directly, From this dialog, desgranar the complex personality of both geniuses and the historical moment of a Europe immersed in the "Age of Enlightenment" and at the gates of the great revolutions that were to mark our history.

All this flooded, as, the music of both, which marks the rhythm of our "face to face" and powered by a stage which involved live images of themselves.
