Public access will be through the Puerta de la Alcoba, which is located on the Paseo de Catalina de Ribera (Murillo Gardens) corner with San Fernando street

Concerts: Nights in the Gardens of the Real Alcázar de Sevilla 2021

“The program of Nights in the Gardens of the Real Alcázar of Seville 2021 travels through the different ages and creative impulses of the city of Seville over time.

The selected programs will bring us closer to different periods and musical styles that have occurred during the more than a thousand years of life of the Alcázar of Seville, from the Middle Ages to the present day. Up to seventy-five concerts that will cover a good part of the history of music: the medieval songs and melodies of the three cultures that coexisted in the Iberian Peninsula, Renaissance and Baroque music, classicism and romanticism, popular sounds from different corners of the world, the Jazz, the pop, the flamenco…

And as usual, beyond stylistic lines, we wanted to address different events and themes that will remind us of relevant stories and characters in our cultural legacy. In this edition of 2021, we have dedicated forty-eight of the seventy-five concerts of Noches en los Jardines del Real Alcázar, to the nine thematic cycles that we detail below:
– Millenary of the birth of Ibn Gabirol
– 800 Anniversary of the birth of Alfonso X the Wise
– 350 Anniversary of the birth of Tomaso Albinoni
– Bicentennial of the birth of Pauline Viardot
– Centenary of the death of Camille Saint-Saëns
– Names of women
– Visions of Spain
– Centenary of the birth of Astor Piazzolla
– Vanguard and purity”
