Opera

It is a scene full of cynicism and black humor, Teatro de la Maestranza, retaking the presence of baroque opera on its stage, presents "Agrippina", an opera about the immorality of Power that enjoyed great success at its premiere - it had 27 performances followed- then it disappeared from the schedules and reappeared towards 1950 in the context of the great European baroque recovery, in a production by the Oviedo Opera and the Vlaanderen Opera Ballet of Flanders – one of the most innovative creative centers in Europe- stage direction by Mariame Clément (Paris, 1974), applauded for her creative ingenuity and avant-garde vision and the musical direction of a specialist.
