Seville has been scene of world-famous movies and series como Star Wars (Episode II, Attack of the clones), in which La Plaza de España appears and in the fifth season of Game of Thrones, in which the Alcázar of Seville and Osuna appear.

  • Lawrence de Arabia – Part of the filming of this movie classic, which it premiered at 1962, has stages in Seville such as Spain Square, the House of Pilatos, the Real Alcázar, the Miguel Mañara Palace and the Alfonso XIII Hotel.
  • 1492: the conquest of paradise – Ridley Scott shot a large part of his film in the Reales Alcázares, using the Palace of King Don Pedro as the residence of Queen Isabella of Castile.
  • The dictator – For this feature film, the Plaza de España became the palace of the dictator. The curiosity about this scenario is that it was digitally retouched to achieve a double vision. Almost no one recognizes it.
  • Eight Basque surnames – It is impossible not to appreciate the special color of Andalusia, and especially from Seville, in this love story. From the bar where the protagonists meet, up to the river walk the places are an open invitation to visit the city.
  • A new kingdom in Seville – Scenarios in Seville there are many, and they adapt to the time that the directors need. The world renowned HBO series, Game Of Thrones, could not miss the opportunity to roll in this place, and that is why they chose the Reales Alcázares as the Kingdom of Dorne. Without changing anything at all, the oldest palace in Spain still in use and World Heritage Site declared by Unesco It was the house of sand snakes for several seasons.
