The mayor of Seville, has declared this Thursday, the state of emergency level one in the city.

"The only objective right now is to stop the evolution of contagions and get control of the situation", has declared Swords.

Espadas has shown its willingness to work in "permanent cooperation and collaboration" and to be putting the means "according to the needs and requirements" that mark the current situation.

According to data from the Ministry of Health and Families, Seville capital, with a poblation of 688.592 people, has a contagion rate of 370,8 Covid positives for each 100.000 population.

Amount to 2.553 confirmed cases in the last 14 days.

The total accumulated cases reaches 8.572, with 2.928 cured.

The deceased amount to 199.

Measures have also been taken regarding the closure of spaces such as parks or restriction of business hours and catering establishments, putting up to 22:00 h the closing.

All these new measures will be published in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (COLOR).
