Tomares has been the last municipality to report fumigations associated with outbreaks of the Nile fever virus.

The Tomares City Council has fumigated this morning, as a preventive measure, the lagoons of the Parque Olivar del Zaudín to prevent the proliferation of the West Nile virus.

The two municipalities affected by the first cases have carried out fumigation work, Coria del Río and Puebla del Río and others like Dos Hermanas have also done it for prevention.

In Tomares there is no indication of it, as a precaution and due to the outbreaks that occurred in these nearby municipalities, (how are Coria and La Puebla) the City Council has fumigated the three lakes of the Parque Olivar del Zaudín.

The treatment that was carried out this morning has a residual effect of 3 the 4 weeks.
