After the luminous tribute to In C Terry Riley Aurélio Edler- He copes played in the edition of Music Series(s) contemporary(s) of 2016, the author opens him one of his most ambitious works and significant: Against the Walls. Ten-amplified instruments and multimedia device, is a work / show based on Dirty poem Ferreira Gullart (Brazil, 1930-2016), emblematic work of resistance to the military dictatorship in Brazil, and Alvin Lucier experiences (USA, 1931) about the reinjection of sound in space.

A device developed by Edler- Copes at IRCAM and the GMEM, establishing a network of resonant virtual spaces that form the basis of deep harmonic structure of the work. Artistic affinity that links the composer and sound workshop dates of their meeting in the courses of the Chair Manuel de Falla of Cádiz, in 2007. Against the walls It is one of the most ambitious projects in which they have participated and one of the most fascinating works in a career full of works that leave grounds as are those of a composer except as Aurélio Edler- Copes.
