En la meca del cine, el jefe de un estudio cinematográfico dedica su tiempo a seducir a artistas guapas, comprar a la prensa y hacer películas de nulo interés cultural. Para él tan sólo importa el sexo, el poder y el dinero. Hasta que una joven aspirante a actriz se resiste a ponerle precio a su carrera, lo que precipitará la caída del magnate hasta lo más hondo del escalafón social.
