RETURNS WITH US THE FORMER STAR DANCER Jan Fabre to present, EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE IN SPAIN, His latest creation. A SHOW ON OUR FEARS WITH FUND HICHCOCK.
We met, as a choreographer and dancer in February 2013 con It’s going to get worse and worse and worse, my friend, that extraordinary solo that was inspired by the convulsive gestualida of fascist speakers. After, in February 2015, He offered AH / HA, a choral piece about laughter and how to dance. Show after show, Lisbeth is stated as an artist specialist research body until his last folds, coming to turn it into a sounding board for our most primitive emotions.
En We’re pretty fuckin’ far from okay, piece co-produced among others by Troubleyn / Jan Fabre and the Avignon Festival,Lisbeth explores the irrationality of fear: fear of fear, that prevents live fully, the feeling of dismay at the human condition. The experience of the anguish that shows us that we feel threatened.
For this new piece creative chose to install the public against two dancers captured in a single device: man, woman, chairs, Lisbeth light hallways ... not talk about the couple but the individual, their emotional relationships, psychological and psychic when you feel fear. From an extracted vocabulary of our everyday gestures and natural, the choreographer we proposed that each recognize and identify.
The starting point of this work have been thrillers of Alfred Hitchcock, in particular Birds, because fear of speaking this tape is irrational. It's a phobia, a paranoia that resonates with increasing force in our world.
Thanks to a progressive increase in movement, thanks to the continuous feeling of needing "the other" increasingly, thanks to the sound layers of the musical score performed live, Get the piece we step on it.
Fear of extraordinary strength that means putting the body in trance becomes a perfect territory for the virtuosity of the dancers.
Third part of a trilogy, of which we have seen the two preceding chapters, We're pretty fuckin 'far from okay raises the question: I since today it seems as if we control the uncontrollable, It may be true that if we lose the thought, we also lose the body?
